I absolutely love brown and red together. Probably because they are so close in the color family.
Only one thing left, hang the rusty red drapes on each side of the shutters. POP! Then..
The dining room is finished and I'm happy with the results.
The dining room table was my parents while growing up. I remember many nights setting at this table doing homework.
I love old furniture. There's something about it's wonderful craftsmanship, and knowing it's been in my family for so long it has soul. The brown walls compliment the rich wood tones in the furniture.
Today, I'm going to start getting ready for the "Big Garage Sale."
After looking at all the stuff I have, I don't think I need to purchase anything ever again, and since I make so many things, my downstairs resembles a Joann's or Hobby Lobby. I won't be shedding any of that stuff.
The fabric room is stuffed full and oozing out of the closet. It's not a pretty site. I am planning on installing new cabinets and counter top downstairs after the garage sale. I can't wait! Finally I hope to have an area to sew.
Anyway it's things that make my life a little more interesting.
Have a great day!
