Move over Pinnie, there's a new girl in town! Her name is Sassafras, and she's determined to take over the territory. Bittersweet territory that is!
I spotted this 1970's pattern while flea marketing several weeks ago. Anytime I see apron patterns for sale I grab them, as I love the different patterns, shapes, designs. Within the same pile of patterns was also a pattern for long aprons, or "Maxi", as they used to say in the seventy's!
I've had more than one of each over the years!
I remember each season hearing which length was hot and shopping for them.
I tend to stereotype each style, or associate the style with people. For instance, the mini was very much Goldie Hawn, the midi, h'm, don't have anyone for that length, but the maxi has to be, Mary Tyler Moore!
I'm still playing with pictures, as you can see, and my inspiration from the muslin dress has me making these.
Packing Bittersweet orders today, and working on more new Spring creations.
The Saturday Studio opens on Saturday, and I'm excited about visiting with my friends.
Another round of the white stuff coming, so maybe a twilight walk in the new fallen snow, if it's not too cold! One of my favorite things to do!
Enjoy caring and sharing days and nights.
