I would like to start this post with a big ♥THANK YOU♥ to all my friends that visit Bittersweet. Some of you have left sweet comments and I have not responded and I wanted you to know that I appreciate and love each of you even though I sometime don't follow.
It's been crazy busy and the days and weeks seem to fly by! What happened to when I was a kid and the days lasted forever? I guess as a kid time was spent climbing trees and riding my bike and nothing else really mattered. I remember sitting on the tallest branch just gazing out at my small town wondering what other townspeople were doing.
As an adult I still have a large amount of fun but it's a different kind of fun and along with the fun comes that R word, responsibilities and that B word, bills.
I just finished up work with the sweetest client, Joyce. It's a pleasure to work with a kindred spirit. Joyce is just starting her business. She is a photographer and artist.
Oh yeah, burlap thoughts... I almost forgot!
I went to the fabric store yesterday with a idea in mind. I purchased a bolt of burlap and was standing in line. The man behind me asked, "are you making halloween costumes?" No, kitchen curtains, I replied. Poor burlap sometimes doesn't get the recognition it deserves! I plan to change that!
