It's been cold the past few days and I haven't wanted to hangout outside much. Other than a short jaunt to pick up one of these or my daily walk I've been sticking inside where it's warm. Funny how those two things go together so nicely.
I love the photo above! The collage is a small representation of what I make. Seriously, most everything that is made usually becomes a favorite thing. If Mrs. Bittersweet thinks that it's not, then it usually discreetely disappears soon after it's made. Not before I stare at it several hundred times, turn it different angles and take oodles of images though.
The subject of creative perfection....
I'm my worst critic when it come to designing labels, packaging, etc. I suppose that's typical with all artisans or people that create.
Have you guessed what the new concept is?
My bank called last week requesting a meeting. They said, Bittersweet had been a customer for a very long time. Indeed we have. In fact, since I've been there, 1997, the bank has changed into three different banks! We'd like to learn more about your company, they said.
I met with the two bankers yesterday afternoon. I told them about the new concept. I also believe they wanted to loan me money. I carry the same beliefs that I do about my products when it comes to loans. Less is more! Remembering Bittersweet was created with one hundred dollars fifteen years ago.
That call from the bank actually helped me form the new concept idee! I shared that tid-bit with them of course.
I'm thinking the new concept probably won't excite everyone. It will open new doors and opportunities for folks that make things though. Other soap makers should get excited. Are you getting frustrated with me for not revealing the notion?
I'm still working on a prototype for the project. Once I get it in order I'm going to show you and explain. Until then, what's that favorite word of mine, it starts with an A. I always liked that song too!
Enjoy caring and sharing days.
Warmly,
Jill 00 (two hugs are better than none)
