I made Patty's coffee cake last night. If you frequent the soap-maker's blog then chances are you've heard me rave about my friends moms cooking and baking. Some of her recipes are listed in my cookbook, including this one. For those of you that don't have a copy I'd like to share the receipt.
UPDATE: Don't add the sour cream twice. I have it listed two times!
Patty & Richard
It's a simple recipe and offers versatile serving options. Whether you indulge at breakfast with a cuppa coffee or you serve the moist cinnamon treat as a cake, either way, it's yummy! You can add in season fresh fruits if you like. I love making cakes that include sour cream in their recipe. Always moist and tasty.
I've been wrapping the new minty garden savon. Love the simple packaging and especially fond of the stamped B on the soap. It's smell is minty, but not too minty. Spearmint rather than peppermint, but it has peppermint powder in it. The big chunky bars should last through the summer especially if you only use it to clean up after gardening. Pair the minty bar with a natural bristle nail brush and you have a delightful summer gift. I'm working on some diffferent packaging for the two. I'll share the packaging pictures later. If you want to get a peek you can click on our Face-book page. I generally list new Bittersweets there before anywhere else.
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
