Thank you for the kind sweet comments regarding the closet. Continuing the work at hand and moving around the studio past the closet. Fall and winter soap manufacturing will be kicking in next month. In order to make room for the soap bars little napping I'll need to clear work tables and corners to accommodate the variety of new soaps.
By the way some of you were interested in ordering the button boxes. I have been purchasing the vintage wallpapered containers from my friend Marilyn. This is her company. The boxes come in array of sizes from extra large to small round and oval like the one in the picture. She also has what I believe to be the very best assortment of vintage wallpaper! The boxes are great for storing all your utilitarian items and adding a vintage touch to your decor.
Moving soap wrapping papers to this cabinet. Vintage trims and a few sprigs of favorite fabric swatches neatly housed in the top of the same cabinet. Placing order filling supplies in one spot so that they'll be easy to grab.
The project has tuned into an all week one. Kind of had a feeling it would! The best part is how I feel knowing the studio is arranged and put together exactly the way I wish it to be. You know the feeling I'm referring to, don't you?
This transitional time of year always carries anticipation. Dreaming about new autumn soaps and going into the busier time for Bittersweet.
One more thing before I resume work.
Some of you have asked if the hydrangeas were going to be available. I'm happy to say YES! They aren't quite dry yet, but within the next couple of weeks I'll be offering the stems on our web site while supply lasts. I'm getting ready to pick some more blooms as soon as I get done typing! Our home is filled with hydrangeas! They're almost in every room of our home!
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
