I'm usually not one to complain about the weather, but folks it's HOT! Realizing summer just recently officially kicked in doesn't set well with me. On top of the heat, no rain! The effects of both the extreme triple digit heat and the lack of moisture create bad air. I really notice the stagnent air during my early morning walks.
The heat has put a damper on our outdoor activities and plans, no pun intended.
We definitely do not want to be painting our home when it's this hot!
Forty feet up seems higher than it really is when it's 105!
Pondering thoughts of my friends on the east coast experiencing the same heat and no power added! ICKY!!
I'm trying to look on the bright side of summer, pun intended!

Each summer has bits and pieces that distinguishe it from summers before.
Each summer produces memories.
Some of my reflections revolve around the seasons summer gardens.
Some memories linger or are highlighted by favorite summer event or a get together with friends and family.
Most always those summer foot prints also include Bittersweet..
What did I make last summer that really wowed me? Oh I remember my favorite summer soap! I must make that one again!
Tracking sales and crunching the numbers, new marketing ideas, always on-going each and every summer.
Friends and customers surprising me with a beautiful lily from their garden. Those memories stand out.
Our air crashing last summer and staying at Regal Hotel, aka, my dads home during the 5 days of extreme heat. The hotel offered 5 star dining and luxurious accommodations!
Simply put, each summer produces different memories.
Mostly good ones.
Even when it's hot!
