I just love the wrapping of the "Country Fair" line of soap! I'm in herb love over the sprigs of rosemary peeking over the picture of soap. My rosemary plants are loving the heat. Don't figure?
For some, the end of summer may feel itchy and in between. Not for me. In fact it's probably a favorite time of the entire year! Knowing we're going into autumn gets me excited long before it actually arrives.
I guess because I'm already mixing and creating new fall, winter soap scents and making new things.
We're also painting and sprucing up our home, nice.
These feelings are surely induced by a natural nesting instinct. I believe we all experience these feelings no matter what part of the country we live in. The anticipation turns into a sudden spruce of energy and is uplifting for me.
Knowing winter is not that far off and also aware that upon her arrival she will usher in a cold north wind, some snow and probably some ice. That's why it's comforting and pure contentment to fluff and prepare while the weather is still nice.
The soap studio is beginning to fill to capacity! I will need to make more room to accommodate production.
In addition to the new soaps I'll be making the holiday soaps soon too.
Remember, cold processed soap is kind of like cheese. It needs to cure for at least 4 - 6 weeks before it is ready to bathe with.
