It's swirling and twirling both at the shop and our home. The holiday season has kicked in. The cookie menu is getting edited and the home sweet home is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Thank you for your Christmas soap orders. I always get freaked out because it goes so quickly. I'm packing and shipping your orders today and tomorrow. Tossing in some of that new yummy Vanilla Mint Lip Balm with your Christmas orders along with two complimentary samples of Bittersweet.
The season is speeding by at full speed just as it does each and every year.
Yesterday, I turned the pace to slow and began decorating our home above the shop. I turned on the stereo hoping to find some Christmas music. Instead the dial stopped at Scottish music. It was lovely to listen to. How can you not feel happy while listening to Scottish music? Personally, I'd say it's the next best happy music next to Christmas.
I still have to attach ribbons to pine cones and twig stars. A couple of strands of lights are needed. Simple back to basics Christmas decor was my inspiration.
The red glassware was a gift from a dear friend. The red bottle and candle holder sit on the vintage Yamaha all year. A reminder of my friends short time here on earth and the soulful memories that are attached to the shiny red. Just as her personality and kind spirit shined. God bless you Dawn.
I've been pondering some serious thoughts just as I do this time every year. Feelings of gratitude and love surround those tender thoughts. Thankful for my health, home and family.
I'm awaiting those special God directed moments. They always appear like the first magical snow fall. A gift from the heavens. An opportunity to care and share some of my blessings. The greatest gift of all, love.
Enjoy caring and sharing holidays.
Warmly,
Jill 00
