A motley of floral pinnies and camisoles take center stage at the soap shop on water street. Accompanied by fat lavender bundles and pink and cream dried larkspur. The hydrangea were born with a dreamy shade of sea-foam and sage. I can't stop picking them! Must refrain so that I'll have some for drying.
Vintage embroidery trims assembled on handmade thread cards made from antique labels and old merchandising ephemera.
Some of my favorite things...
I've been pondering some thoughts for a very long time...
The contemplating and tarry, far exceed any jump in and do it feelings. Mainly because I'm busy with the shop. What the heck is Jill talking about? I'd like to write and publish two books. The first book would will be a personal record about the spiritual stories and God moments or supernatural encounters I've experienced during my life. There are so many that I need to write about them in a book. I feel a yearning and purpose to share these special events with others. The second book, a folio about my life as an artisan and soap maker depicted and taken mostly from my seven years of blogging. The do' and don'ts, the how to's and assortment of methods and mediums and new fresh ideas.
I'll be on the hunt for a great editor.
The pondering thoughts are closing in tugging at me more each day. I believe it's time to jump-off!
I'll keep you posted.
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
