I get excited when a new periodical comes out. This one will have you drooling. It's clever and creative and my friend Clarice is the food editor. Need I say more?
When we traveled to Washington to visit Clarice she had a wonderful picnic lunch prepared . After the long flight I was famished. I'm always famished it seems but any way, the dish Mrs. Story Book Woods made was beyond delicious. A farm fresh egg and kale dish served up with tender, flaky, melt in your mouth biscuits.

It's started to cool off in the mornings like it always does in September. My September mood is inching towards crackling fires, sweaters, and maple syrup. Not sure where the thoughts of maple syrup came from.
