You guessed it? Another peasant top. This time made from lawn. I love sewing with lawn linen. It makes the patterns flow, flow. I added a ruffle to the sleeves and some trim.
Our spring is sure slow to arrive. It's on the cool side according to the calender.
Working on May Day gifts and have the menu planned. Share that later. Always like using new recipes. This year since we're having a three day event I'm making small sandwiches and grape salad in addition to the confections.
I made this last night. I love apple deserts! This recipe typical of most crisps, but I added fresh ground nutmeg and a tad bit more sugar and cinnamon. I really like to taste the cinnamon in this dish. You can find fresh nutmeg at Target. I was surprised to see it there.
Putting the finishing touches on some projects and I painted our front door this color. A true spring color and almost robin egg, but with a touch of green. It looks white in this picture.
It's a late night of work. Oils just came in and my list is long.
Enjoy caring and sharing spring days.
