The bunting is up!
The big forth of July week. Parades, parties and concerts coming this week. Julie's opening the pool this week. I picked up some corn on the cob at a little market that was parked in the parking lot of a restaurant we stopped at before headed to the once a month barn sale.
The shop is blooming with new summer soap. Lemon Verbena and Lavender Mint is ripe for the picking.
We've been preparing light grilled meals. Chicken and fish, pasta and grilled fruit and veggies. We made a homemade pizza dough and grilled it. It was the best pizza crust I've ever had!
I'm working on a new cookbook! Knowing how many coals I have in the fire, the cookbook project is on the back burner, but I'll work on it now and then in between Bittersweet and Crawford House Vintage. Really getting excited about Crawford House Vintage!
I'm sorting through items for the show. I have a variety and collection of vintage items, merchandise, etc., that I am shedding.
I need to purchase a white tent for the new pop-up venue. I spoke with the farmers market vendors and they filled me in on which one to get. I'm going to spruce it up with fabric and what not.
I took the picture at the barn sale. The farm sale is planted in amongst the corn fields and soy beans.
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
