It's a lavender day! Linen spray, sachets, essential oil, laundry powder, soap. lockets. I know, it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it, right?
Making more of these too. Seeing the picture in my archives jolted my memory and reminded me I had sold out of paquets. Funny how that works.
I started offering an essential oil line at the brick and mortar shop. The oils are also used to scent my soap. I'm fond of those corked glass bottles. The oils are sold by weight. Some essential oils are denser than others so you may notice a variation in liquid weight. Something I've learned during my many years in the soap and skin care manufacturing.
I'm also fond of the lavender bundles in this old wicker scale. Not to mention the scale I picked up at a flea market for twenty-five dollars. I know, a bargain and treasured find indeed!
Missouri does have their share of great wondrous deals at local vintage shops. I've always loved that!
I really can't believe how fast summer is racing by. June bugs are out! Father's day weekend! I'm still pondering gift ideas for Father's day. No conclusions yet.
Another busy week at the hand made shop. Photographing new items so that I can list them on the web site and Julie and I began creating vignettes on the porch. The century old porch is an ideal spot to take photo's.
It's another rainy day. The rain will help the flowers bloom! Love that too!
I picked up a lot of paper mache boxes the other day. I've always loved paper mache boxes and equally passionate about transforming a plain dull box into a beautiful treasure keeping one. You may recall bittersweet boxes from years past designs.
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
