I've just announced our new line of products, Indigo Summer. Since we don't have scratch and sniff I'll do the best to describe it for you. Imagine yourself sitting smack dab in the middle of a citrus grove lined with fresh flowers. I believe that works! It debuted yesterday, and was popular with customers as it was flying off the shelf. Yippee!
I'm often asked, how do you begin to create a new product? My answer always varies as does my inspiration, but lately I've been fixated on the color blue. Especially denim blue! Oh and there's gray blue, and aqua blue, and sea blue, sky blue, okay now you understand my obsession!
Don't forget about the "Feeling Groovy" giveaway. I'll be announcing a winner on April 10, noon, Central time, and post it on both our Facebook page and here on the original soap maker's blog. Good luck!
The shop is getting a makeover. I'm trying to make a comfortable spot for new frocks, soaps, and sundries. I refer to it as well, simply redundant, comfortable spot. A shop keeper's world and space gets messy! I prefer a more polished appearance, where less is more. Typically that's not the protocol for shops. I believe a certain balance is needed when merchandising one's shop. Notice I used the word needed rather than required. No requirement, simply personal preference.
Rachel dropped by yesterday and offered her perfect balance merchandising techniques. She's a whizz at it! Thank you Rachel for adding your sunshine shadows to the apothecary shop on water street.
Love, love, the new Indigo Summer line! You will too!
Enjoy caring and sharing days.
With all good wishes.
