This soap maker is having a ball browsing clothing lines. I'm wandering , why on earth have I not explored wholesale apparel before now? Even in the course of everyday shop life, your happy place is sometimes where you least expect it. Hand picking the lines is a pleasure! As with Bittersweet and the soap shop on water street, I have found a shop proprietor picks and chooses what their taste exhibits. Folks that visit the apothecary shop are saying, "this looks like you!" Don't figure! Over the many years of owning and managing a shop, I've concluded that's how you roll.
A more serious subject...
Seldom do I hit on the more unhappy, serious sides of topics, but today I'm feeling a need to release. I was in and out last night between REM, worrying about the sticky fingers that made an appearance on Saturday afternoon. It saddens me deeply. Honestly, if you can't afford an item, and if you were to ask me, I would more than likely give it to you! Please, please, don't take it!
The subject is ongoing and as my business grows, so does the unfortunate happenings that occur as more folks walk through that door. The world is filled with, the Good, Bad, and Ugly. That's always been, and will continue during my time, and your time on earth.
As I close the subject, I'd like to add, how, I believe good ALWAYS trumps bad, no matter what the situation. I'll stop there... Well, one more thing. I'm thinking of duck taping the new garments to the hangers! However, if I do this, my honest customers will have a problem removing the clothing pieces from the hangers. Life....
Still feeling blessed, always, and my faith shall never waiver.
Do you recall years ago, how I made soap? I've chatted about it many times right here on the blog. The humble shoe box, a valuable tool back then. After the soap was made, I'd pour the creamy mixture into a small shoe box, cover it, and stick it under my bed to cure. Sometimes I like, love to recreate this method. Doing so brings back the sweet memories of my days gone by soap making techniques. Recreating those moments make my soul happy!
Enjoy caring and sharing days.
With all good wishes,
