blog-a-tion:INTERMISSION

Bittersweetstamp

I'm one busy little bee! My hive is empty and there's work to be done, and since I'm the Queen Bee, that means I better get to work. Yes indeed, that's right, a Queen bees work is never done!

With the May Day celebration approaching, and new spring creations in the works, and inventory running low, I have been more a busy working bee, and not so much a Queen.

The May Day invitations are on there way, and the May Day baskets, well, let's just say, I've only just began making those, and the new stuff that's been floating around, still floating.

The strawberry sachets are a huge hit at Bittersweet, so I'm making a large patch of those, and couture cartons, all gone, sold out, making more, I love those little sewing kits! The Chicky clip boards, all gone!

I'll be taking a blogation.

Not sure how long I'll be gone.

I'll be back, once I get everything caught up.

Enjoy caring and sharing Spring days.

Happily,

Paper Trail

Paper

I'm leaving a huge paper trail in the office this morning. Everywhere you look, paper!  All kinds.Thick card stock paper, thin white computer paper, decorative paper, Christmas paper. Yep, when you walk into a crafty gal, or guy's office your bound to see more than one kind of paper. It's a sure give-a -way she/he, does more than take dictation.

Today's build a bear paper day consist of making Bittersweet bag labels, brochures, bath salt tags, and business cards. I'm completely out of each at the shop. I love being able to design and print my own stuff. Here's a tip for you if your printing your own labels. If your printing a large amount, I would suggest purchasing them here . I have been purchasing labels from this company for several years, and am impressed with their quality and service.

Tip number two.. Ink cartridges! If you use a lot of paper, chances are your also using a lot of computer ink. I would suggest purchasing it here  .

I have spent a considerable amount of time searching for companies that offer affordable alternatives to help a modern girl's/guy's, crafty endeavors. Whether your creating for yourself, or creating for a business, that old saying, "time is money",  holds true.

Enjoy a caring and sharing day!

It's Not Too Early!

I've been gearing up for the holidays for awhile now.

I'm a littleSanta_and_snowman_images_119 Santa_and_snowman_images_114 behind. I am trying to do several things atSanta_and_snowman_images_46  the same time. I won't even say the dreaded word, just going to abbreviate it.

This week is going to be a short week for me. I am having the gs, both Friday and Saturday, and am taking a few days off after that.

This season, and not as years past,  I have not made the Holiday Soaps. This year is different in lot's of ways. (Later Blog, and Surprising News!)

I'm working on several projects outside the shop, and they are pulling me in different directions, although they are pleasing productive directions.

I have tons of vintage illustrations I incorporate into Bittersweet stuff. I've talked about that before too. I am giving you a preview of some of the holiday graphics I'll be using to make the soap boxes. Aren't they adorable?

Anyway, It's things that make my life a little more interesting.

Happily,

Jill 00 (Two hugs are better than none)
