This is not necessarily a new idee. The thought of printing on brown paper bags excites me!
The sky is the limit on what you can convey and house in these small vessels.
Cut the tops with decorative trim scissors and insert a couple of holes for adding some ribbon or twine.
Of course my little bags will contain soap!
I'm also pondering herbs and flower seeds and oh my gosh like I said there is no limit to the creative things you can do!
I had to adjust my printer settings to accommodate the thicker paper. Don't get discouraged if your printer doesn't accept the paper off the bat. Some printers are more finicky than others. I'm in need of a couple print cartridges but this prototype will soon be off to the presses.
A great crafty summer project I believe, printed paper bags.
I meant to share yesterday that the post was number 1600! Wow!
No. 1601 is a magic number too!
I'd also like to mention that someday soon I'm going to start composing a Bittersweet book from the 1601 posts that I've written on Bittersweet blog. I will self publish it unless a fairy godmother publisher happens along. I'll also be taking all of the photographs. I will require an editor. To those of you that know me or read my blogs you know how much I need an editor! I had not released the book announcement because I knew that once I did then deadlines would need to be put in place. I'm not good with deadlines, so the book will come when it comes.
Summer 2012 marks exciting things to come...
Enjoy caring and sharing summer days.
Warmly,
