Lennis made little wren houses for me to sell at the shop! Wrens are cool birds. The mother and father have their babies in the wren house and then the babies come back to the same house and have their babies. This continues for many years. We have a wren house right off our tree house porch and every spring without fail, the wren family comes back once again to have babies. Sometimes they build fake nests in the bird house so if you don't see little mouths poking out or mom and dad traveling to and from the house, those wise little wrens may not have babies in your wren house.

Remnants of the vintage petticoat I purchased last weekend while roaming the flea market. I love the way my aprons look against the delicate white cotton.
