The lavender flows freely at the hand made shop. Customers walk in and usually ask me, "what is that lovely smell?" It's probably without a doubt lavender they're sniffing. Summer and lavender simply fit perfectly, don't you think? If I had a farm, I'd dedicate acreage to grow the treasured herb and I'd have a barn with beams so that I could dry fat bunches of lavender. I've really been pondering those thoughts lately. I could never give up my home and tree house porch but a lavender farm would be lovely wouldn't it?
I made some "lavender farm" sachet from vintage embroidery pieces. The pieces were damaged and stained but I managed to salvage bits & pieces to make pretty aromatic drawer tucking sachets.
I just had an inpsirational moment. Maybe Bittersweet should launch a new line and call it "Lavender Farm!" What do you think?
