The square celebrated their summer festival this weekend. We had rain on Saturday so attendance was down some compared to past festivals.
We braved the rain, umbrellas in hand and walked over to main street where the farmers market was set up. I picked up a huge cauliflower floret at the market. I like to chop up it up and make fritters. They are tasty and if you've never had a cauliflower fritter, try one! I love this recipe. I also made these, and can testify they're great too!
We also, Julie and I, dropped by my favorite jewelry maker's pop up. Christine is a talented artist indeed.
Summer is always a busy time at both the Vintage Boutique and Soap Shop. Bittersweet starts preparing for the holiday season in July! Retail has a mind of its own. As a manufacturer the season starts even earlier than wholesale, retail boutiques. Rather than ordering new items, I make them so a head start is always required.
Thank you, by the way, for the locket love. I love the locket perfume! Shipping your locket orders out this week.
That shabby vintage hat was at the vintage boutique. I had to have it!
Enjoy caring and sharing days.
