Rain, rain, go away. It's not that I don't appreciate you, I do, however you're putting a damper on our outdoor events. The annual downtown Arts Squared is scheduled for this Friday & Saturday, Fingers crossed and positive thoughts circling our aura! Maybe I'll perform a rain no more dance.
I'm experimenting with some flower drying methods. Recently while indulging in this magazine I happened upon a picture of dried peonies. My heart skipped a beat when I discovered this picture on Pinterest!
It seems very little work is needed to achieve this faded glory. I have a few bundles hanging in supply room. We'll see what happens. If I had an old barn I'd fill it with hanging dried flowers and herbs. Can you imagine? The literature I've read instructs you to dry only two or thee, four at the most, at a time.
It would similar to this picture. Photo courtesy of Pinterest. Notice the huge smile on that girls face. I'd be smiling too if this were my barn filled with dried herbs and flowers.
Soap mounds, piles, scores of olive oil savon fill the studio. A new coffee soap is curing and if you like musk, you'll love the new champ de fleurs musc savon.
Enjoy caring and sharing days.
With all good wishes,
