Gazing upon this assortment of beaded bracelets brings joyful happiness to my soul. You see, they were inspired by my sweet soft spoken mom, Alice. Hence the name, "Alice Bracelet."
Back in the early seventies, my mom made bracelets similar to these. As a little girl growing up with a crafty mom, I was always snowed over with excitement when she'd make something new!
What would she think of next?
Over the years, I'd learn to know, that my mom was gifted in many ways.
I was a lucky girl that she shared many of her creative talents with me. I'm feeling thankful, and blessed, and downright lucky.
The "Alice Bracelets" are flying out the shop door! In fact, I can't keep up with making them. H'm, maybe I should focus my energy to offering strictly beads over hand crafted soap at my shop?
Well, maybe not, but those thoughts have certainly been entertained.
Recreating past designs that originated from Alice's original inspirations allow me to honor her spirit. They feed my soul with love and a sense of peace and well being. Even during the hustle of the busy holiday season, I'm asked to slow down, reflect, and recognize those noteworthy thoughts. All of which allow me to realize even more, the significance of love, and how it transforms and spreads in many different directions. Some of which you recognize quickly, while most of the time you don't perceive ,until later down the road. Sometimes, much later, and that's how love works it's magic.
Magical love...
This holiday season, I'm asking God to help me to see and share the magic of love.
Keep the faith.
