Ah, so many choices, and offerings that it's easy to get lost in the textile forest.
Bittersweet hand picks our selections from over hundreds of clothing manufacturers. It's actually a daunting task. Simply because there are vast styles, colors, textures, designs, and above else quality. Then there's price point. That's crucial in deciding which lines to offer in your shop.
Demographics play a key part in those deciding choices.
Since choosing to offer duds at the Bittersweet shop three years ago, I've learned a considerable number of things, including the above mentioned.
I've learned that one must serve an offering of uniqueness and fill a clothing niche to stand out, and be of interest to shoppers. It's one of those shop things you learn as you go along. At least, I have done this.
I'm getting ready to make a few positive changes with my clothing department.
Firstly, prices are falling, and I'll be offering sales here and there so that we can turn our racks on a constant level.
Neutrals are queen, and modern romantic styles will line our shop walls. Prints will be few and far between. We favor solids, and believe you'll get more bang for your clothing dollar with solid textiles. Trendy pieces, I'm not a fan. I prefer timeless over trendy.
I'm a clothes junkie!
Not only have I learned from my personal shopping habits, I too have learned from customers whom choose what they find appealing.
